Robert Half if seeking an Audit Clerk for a well-known and reputable company in the Gaming Industry. As a revenue Audit Clerk, you will be responsible for thorough revenue auditing, data entry, and verification tasks within a team-oriented workplace. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity that is located in Henderson, Nevada. The Ideal Audit Clerk must have an active Gaming Card, or willing to complete the Nevada Gaming Registration. Prior candidates with high attention to detail, proficient Excel and fast & accurate Data Entry are encouraged to apply. Prior industry knowledge is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily audit requirements including reviewing the accuracy of revenue data for multiple properties

• Perform data entry tasks and verify reports for accuracy and consistency

• Ensure numbers on various reports are consistent and accurately tied out, completing miscellaneous audit procedures as needed

• Conduct audits for various gaming activities including Race & Sports, Table Games, and Slots

• Ensure all jackpot items are correctly recorded and stored

• Comply with GCB Minimum Internal Controls and internal control requirements

• Review reports, logs, and supporting documentation from each audit area

• Complete and maintain documentation evidencing the performance of audit procedures, exceptions noted, and corresponding follow-up and results of investigations

• Prepare various spreadsheets and verify balances to computerized systems

• Create and upload journal entries

• Review, document and communicate instances of noncompliance to appropriate management and perform follow-up on these instances as necessary.

Requirements

• Must have prior experience working with large data sets in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Knowledge of casino gaming operations and related financial transactions is highly preferred, not required.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and presentation.

• Strong ethical standards and integrity in all work-related decisions and actions.

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills for effective auditing.

• Good communication skills for clear and concise reporting of audit findings.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to work weekends and 4–10-hour shifts.
