Description
We are seeking a meticulous and diligent individual for the role of Audit Clerk in the Gaming Industry, based in Henderson, Nevada. This Audit Clerk will be responsible for conducting daily audits, verifying reports, and ensuring compliance. This is an exciting contract employment opportunity, offering the chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced industry. The Audit Clerk must be able to work weekends and 4–10-hour shifts. Responsibilities of the Audit Clerk
• Conduct daily audit requirements, ensuring the accuracy of revenue data across multiple properties.
• Perform data entry tasks and verify reports, ensuring accurate matching of data across multiple sources.
• Conduct miscellaneous audit procedures, verifying that the figures in different reports match.
• Assist in auditing various sectors including Keno Bingo, Table Games, and Slots.
• Ensure all jackpot items are correctly documented and matched, adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Support and promote the company culture, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
• Ensure compliance with internal control requirements, adhering to both company policies and industry regulations.
• Review and document instances of noncompliance, communicating these instances to management and conducting necessary follow-ups.
• Prepare various spreadsheets, verifying balances to computerized systems and creating journal entries.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical skills to evaluate financial data and identify discrepancies
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume data entry tasks
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with various departments
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• High level of integrity and professional ethics, respecting the confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Flexible to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per the industry requirements.
