Robert Half Controller in Hendersonville, Tennessee

Description We are hiring for the role of Controller based in Hendersonville, Tennessee. This role will focus on the development and implementation of accounting policies, financial procedures, and risk management strategies. The Controller will also play a crucial role in monitoring the company's financial status, reviewing budgets, and managing accounting transactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement accounting policies for the company

• Oversee all financial procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency

• Monitor the company's financial status continuously

• Review and manage quarterly and annual budgets for all departments

• Handle all accounting transactions accurately and promptly

• Utilize in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to guide financial decisions

• Conduct risk management evaluations and build assessment models for investments

• Generate regular reports on the financial status and create ad-hoc reports as needed

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for all financial documents

• Perform internal audits and assist with external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations

• Manage financial IT systems and finance personnel

• Monitor business performance, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for various stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory entities in all financial operations. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Skilled in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience in Auditing is required

• Familiarity with Sage Software, NetSuite and QuickBooks is essential

• Strong understanding of Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) processes

• Ability to prepare, analyze, review and consolidate Monthly and Year-end Financial Statements

• Experience in Revenue Recognition is necessary

• Proven ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements

• Knowledge of Consolidated Financial Statements is a must
