Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be contributing to data-driven decision-making processes, conducting detailed operational analysis, supporting business projects, and managing multiple workstreams.
Responsibilities
• Utilize financial tools to support data-driven decision-making processes across the business.
• Conduct detailed operating analysis with a focus on supply chain business units.
• Assist in the preparation of business review presentations and analyses.
• Manage multiple workstreams and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
• Support ad-hoc tasks and various business projects aimed at improving processes and boosting productivity.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to assess and report financial performance.
• Support the global monthly close process to ensure the delivery of timely and accurate financial results.
• Maintain a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and apply them in daily tasks.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills while working with internal business stakeholders.
• Display strong organization and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
• Proficient in using 3M, Accounting Software Systems, Adaptive Insights, CRM, and EPM
• Demonstrated expertise in accounting functions, annual budgeting, budget processes, and capital management
• Experience in managing a business unit with financial responsibilities
• Strong understanding of the annual budget process, financial forecasting, and variance analysis
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic planning skills
• Proven ability in managing multiple projects concurrently with tight deadlines
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively explain complex financial data to non-financial colleagues
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with other financial software applications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required; advanced degree or certification such as a CFA, CPA, or MBA is preferred.
