Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Hermitage, Pennsylvania
Description
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our client's team in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be expected to handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional customer service to our customers. The main function of this role includes processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.
The candidate should have an outgoing, upbeat, and friendly demeanor. Must have a positive work ethic and must work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, identifying customer needs and providing product/service information.
• Resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform tasks such as refund requests, dispute handling, payoff quotes, and process stop payments.
• Provide basic troubleshooting support for online banking products and services such as password resets, mobile banking, and bill payments.
• Act as a liaison between the branch and customer, taking ownership of service requests.
• Promote banking products and services by identifying customer needs and providing appropriate offerings.
• Update account changes and submit credit card limit increase inquiries.
• Address customer complaints in a professional and effective manner.
• Build sustainable relationships with customers by displaying a friendly demeanor and exceptional customer service.
• Work some holidays and weekends, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the role.
Must be flexible to work the following hours. shifts will rotate and must be able to work late nights and weekends!
Schedule/Hours
• Monday thru Friday 7:45AM-9PM
• Saturdays and Sundays 7:45AM -5PM
• FT – 5 days a week, 40 hours a week with varying shifts (7:45AM-5, 9AM-6, 10AM-7, 12PM-9) + rotating weekend shifts.
• 90 Day Training Period in which your schedule will be Monday – Friday 7:45AM-5PM (Full Time only)
Requirements • Demonstrable experience in a customer service role within the Financial Services industry for at least one year
• Proficiency in handling high volume calls in a fast-paced call center
• Experience working in an inbound call center environment
• Proven ability to deliver superior customer service and resolve customer service issues effectively
• Proficiency in using call center customer service software such as softphones
• Prior experience in a call center is a must
• Strong ability to work under pressure and manage difficult customer interactions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Higher education or certifications in relevant fields will be considered a plus.
