Robert Half Staff Accountant in Hialeah, Florida
Description We are extending an offer for a Staff Accountant role in our manufacturing team located in Hialeah, Florida. As a Staff Accountant, you will work closely with the finance team to manage the accounting processes, handle financial projects, and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on various accounting projects and initiatives
• Support the Director of Finance during month-end close processes
• Prepare and record monthly adjusting journal entries, including allocations and amortization of prepaid expenses
• Document the company's accounting processes and procedures
• Assist in preparing various budgets under the supervision of the Director of Finance
• Accurately and promptly complete complex client billings
• Work with the Director of Finance to manage inventory
• Assist in creating cash projections
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential
• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is required
• Profound understanding and experience with General Ledger
• Ability to accurately prepare and maintain Journal Entries
• Capable of managing Month End Close procedures
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software is required
• Knowledge of SAP software is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
