Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Hialeah Gardens, Florida
Description
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping track of the money owed, preparing invoices and updating records. You will also be tasked with resolving any discrepancies and answering customer queries.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
Draft and send invoice bills and statements to customers.
Research and resolve discrepancies in the billing process.
Collaborate with the sales department to confirm that all necessary documents are complete before invoices are sent.
Update aging reports and maintain customer files with sales contracts and other information.
Post customer checks, vendor payments, and bank transactions.
Process and monitor incoming payments, and secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
Carry out customer credit checks and set up new customer accounts.
Requirements
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
Excellent data entry skills and a knack for numbers.
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
