Description We are seeking a Financial Analyst - Entry Level to join our team in the Financial Services industry, located in Hiawatha, Iowa. In this role, you will be tasked with reviewing and analyzing financial statements, managing data, and maintaining our proprietary database. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze a high volume of financial statements from various organizations nationwide.
• Extract relevant data from financial reports and input it into our proprietary database.
• Conduct research online to gather further company financial information.
• Continually update and maintain financial information as new financial statements become available.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and organize data effectively.
• Apply statistical methods to financial data to aid in decision making.
• Utilize skills in tax accounting to understand financial statements and reports.
• Carry out independent work to meet team objectives.
• Use your skills in investment financial analysis to interpret and present financial information.
• Analyze Form 10-K and Form 10-Q to extract necessary information. Requirements • Possession of a Bachelor's or Honours Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• At least one year of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to analyze financial statements.
• Familiarity with Form 10-K and Form 10-Q.
• Knowledge in applied statistics.
• Experience with tax accounting.
• Proficiency in investment financial analysis.
