Robert Half Help Desk Analyst II in Hickory, North Carolina
Description We are seeking a Help Desk Analyst II to join our team in Hickory, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing technical support, including hardware and software troubleshooting for our internal users. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
• Handle break-fix tasks, providing hands-on support for technical issues.
• Support hardware, specifically Lenovo desktops and laptops.
• Operate and manage the ticketing system, ensuring all support tickets are accurately logged and resolved in a timely manner.
• Provide support for Mac Computers, Microsoft applications, and Active Directory.
• Assist with Apple devices, including iPads, ensuring they are properly configured and maintained.
• Understand and perform imaging procedures, including backup, cloning and deployment tasks.
• Utilize skills in Configuration Management and Deployments to ensure systems are running efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware. Requirements • Proficient in Mac Computers and Apple Devices
• Familiarity with Microsoft software and tools
• Experience working with Active Directory
• Knowledge of Computer Hardware and its functionalities
• Ability to perform Configuration Management tasks
• Experience in Deployments
• Skilled in Break Fix problem-solving techniques
• Familiarity with a Ticketing System for managing Support Tickets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and user support
