Key responsibilities

  • Contribute accurate, friendly customer service in a timely fashion

  • Be a part of business development by by actively cross-selling and referring customers

  • Organize and route incoming telephone calls

  • Retrieve and oversee the sending of written business communications Requirements - Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

    • Solid understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly

    • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and clients/customers

    • General familiarity with University Degree

    • Well-founded grasp of Shipping Functions

    • Inbound Telephone Calls experience

    • Practical knowledge of order entry

    • Customer service experience desired

    • Wide ranging experience with customer invoices

    • Proven knowledge of Customer Account

    • Earlier work involving account management

    • Customer Satisfaction experience required

    • Quality experience with Purchase Orders

    • Proficiency in Customer Shipments

    • Good understanding of Problem Resolution

    • Experience with Email Correspondence

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required

    • Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

    • success driven attitude and an engaging businesslike approach

    • Customer service and office administrative skills

    • No stranger to performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries

    • 2+ years of past relevant experience
