Robert Half DevOps Engineer in Highlands Ranch, Colorado

Description We are in search of a DevOps Engineer to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colorado. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be tasked with managing containerized applications, orchestrating user authentication systems, and ensuring the efficient functioning of our IT services.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and orchestrate containerized applications, with a focus on Docker/Kubernetes.

• Work with CI/CD pipeline, particularly Jenkins, to streamline development practices.

• Utilize knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Perl, Ruby, Python, node.js, Groovy, Bash along with YAML and JSON configuration files.

• Automate repetitive tasks to increase efficiency and reduce errors.

• Maintain and monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary.

• Ensure the functionality of user authentication systems.

• Maintain a broad knowledge of technology products and services to aid in IT service delivery.

• Utilize Amazon EC2, Ansible, Apache ANT+, Apache Tomcat, Atlassian Jira, Agile Scrum, Automation, AWS Technologies, Cluster Analysis, Configuration Management, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Linux skills to enhance job performance.

• Work experience with VMWare and Linux (Redhat) is essential.

• Maintain valid driver’s license to facilitate any necessary travel. Requirements • Proficiency in Amazon EC2, Ansible, Apache ANT+, Apache Tomcat, Atlassian Jira, Agile Scrum, Automation, AWS Technologies, Cluster Analysis, Configuration Management, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Linux.

• Experience in the Real Estate & Property industry.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and methodologies.

• Strong understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) principles.

• Experience with cloud services and deployment (particularly AWS).

• Demonstrable ability to manage system infrastructure.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Relevant professional certifications would be advantageous.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the specified location.

• Should have a customer-centric approach to tasks.
