Description
A reputable company is seeking an experienced, organized Senior Financial Analyst to join their efforts on a long-term temporary basis. Handling project spending, planning, forecasting, and annual budgeting, the Senior Financial Analyst consultant is the primary contact for all financial questions. You will need to follow public reporting requirements in order to perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments, as well as provide decision-making support for future company investments. This Senior Financial Analyst will be situated in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Your responsibilities in this role
Build advantageous relationships with integral business partners and Finance/Accounting leadership
Execute monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management by analyzing financial results, synthesizing/distilling key trends, assessing future and current business risks, and articulating critical updates
Influence the accuracy and discretion of tracked financial results with Operations and Accounting in order to drive improved management reporting
Coordinate with Functional leads to draft management reporting, accounting and compliance advisement, and guarantee alignment of operational initiatives
Develop business, operational, and financial processes to be repeatable and understandable for all necessary teams
Drive existing management reporting - analyze financial results, distill and synthesize issues, communicate key messages to senior management
Cultivate business performance through the use and execution of financial analysis
Offer assistance for ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests as necessary
Requirements
Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
Compelling strategy mindset and a track record of interacting successfully with management
Highly skilled with Microsoft PowerPoint
Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented
Finance or Business BA/BS degree or one in a related field required
Stragic Communication experience preferred
Proficiency in Written Communication
Solid understanding of financial analysis
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
CPA/MBA preferred
Highly-accomplished in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended
Efficient with process reengineering and optimization
