Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Hoboken, New Jersey
Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Hoboken, New Jersey. In this role, you will be part of a team that handles various duties related to accounts receivable, billing, and customer account management in the industry.
Responsibilities:
• Assure the delivery of accurate and timely invoices to customers with particular billing requirements.
• Manage a high volume of service/repair work orders and their respective billing.
• Collaborate with the maintenance department to tackle billing concerns and issues.
• Regularly review invoice notes, and liaise with Sales and Operations departments regarding any questions or concerns.
• Contribute to account reconciliations.
• Keep customer and vendor account information up-to-date as required.
• Upload invoices to specific customer portals.
• Actively participate with the accounts receivable team and leadership.
• Execute other duties as assigned or requested.
• Utilize software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and Sage 300 to perform tasks efficiently. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts receivable (AR) operations
• Experience with billing procedures and cash applications
• Familiarity with cash collections and commercial collections processes
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Experience with Oracle for database management
• Knowledge of QuickBooks for accounting and financial management
• Proficiency in using Sage 300 for business management tasks
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good organizational skills.
