Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Holland, Michigan
Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to become part of our team in the Manufacturing industry, located in HOLLAND, Michigan. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be instrumental in handling customer invoicing, managing credit card payments, overseeing aging reports, cash application, and collections.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
• Manage all aspects of invoicing and credit card payments
• Oversee and maintain detailed aging reports
• Handle cash application processes efficiently
• Conduct collections and follow-up on overdue accounts
• Ensure customer records are accurate and updated
• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP solutions to streamline processes
• Perform other accounting functions as necessary
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other tools for data management and analysis
• Conduct regular auditing of accounts to ensure accuracy. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role, ideally within the Manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential
• Experience in ADP Financial Services is advantageous
• Knowledge of Concur and ERP Solutions is highly desirable
• Ability to perform a variety of Accounting Functions with precision
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proven skills in Auditing and Billing Functions
• Familiarity with Account Coding is necessary
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
