Description We are seeking a Telecommunications Specialist for a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity. This role can be executed remotely. The Telecommunications Specialist will play a vital role in handling all aspects of data circuit orders for customers, from prequalification to troubleshooting. The candidate will also process local phone service accounts and perform administrative duties as required.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with internet providers on the provisioning of data orders, from inception to completion • Obtain quotations from new carriers for internet services for our customers • Assist the NOC & billing department in troubleshooting post-installation issues • Ensure all necessary carrier paperwork is completed accurately and that contracted rates/special pricing are applied to each order • Handle provisioning of certain local phone service accounts, working with long distance and toll-free numbers • Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, assisting with monthly billing of customers, running monthly agent commission reports, and running reports as needed for various customers • Use Microsoft Office tools proficiently, especially Excel and Outlook, to manage and track order information • Learn to navigate and effectively use our custom V-Select online portal, as well as other online tools • Work well independently and as part of a team when required • Demonstrate persistence, personability, and professionalism in all interactions • Assist with troubleshooting of carrier problems and opening necessary service and trouble tickets. Requirements • Proficiency in Avaya CMS

• Experience with Crystal Reports

• Familiarity with Management Systems

• Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel

• Experience with About Time software

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to create clear and concise documentation

• Knowledge of Human Resources (HR) Administration
