Robert Half Staff Accountant in Holly Springs, North Carolina

Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant in Holly Springs, North Carolina, United States, to join our team in the construction/contractor industry. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity and involves transitioning data from QuickBooks desktop to QuickBooks Online, implementing QuickBase, and managing customer databases.

Responsibilities:

• Transition data from QuickBooks desktop to QuickBooks Online accurately and efficiently

• Implement QuickBase as a CRM for field technicians

• Manage a customer database of around 1000

• Monitor and manage data related to the construction of approximately 4000 roofs per year

• Archive data from 2016-2020 and move everything from 2021 to the present to Online

• Work on-site in Holly Springs for a few days a week and remotely on other days

• Use skills in Quickbooks Online, QuickBooks, System Implementation, QuickBase, and Intuit QuickBase to perform duties effectively. Requirements • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant in the construction/contracting industry.

• Proficient in Quickbooks Online, QuickBooks, QuickBase, and Intuit QuickBase.

• Experience in system implementation is crucial.

• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.

• Awareness and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.

• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.

• Accuracy and attention to detail.

• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical skills and experience creating reports and presentations.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Must demonstrate high levels of integrity and discretion.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
