Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the construction industry, based in Honolulu, Hawaii. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks in a dynamic workplace. To apply please call Noe Silva at 808.452.0264. Responsibilities
• Ensure accurate processing and recording of company's accounts payable transactions
• Manage reconciliation of accounts and maintaining the general ledger
• Oversee the processing and recording of accounts receivable transactions
• Handle the billing process and ensure that invoices are sent out promptly
• Perform data entry tasks as required
• Process customer invoices efficiently and accurately
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks
• Ensure that all financial data is stored and managed in a secure manner
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to customer accounts
• Communicate with customers and respond to their inquiries in a timely manner.
Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation is essential
• Experience with both accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with billing procedures
• Fast and accurate data entry skills
• Experience with invoice processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Oracle software
• Experience with QuickBooks software
• Familiarity with SAP software
• Previous experience in a construction or contracting environment is preferred
• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must have the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
