Description
Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Manager. You might be the candidate Robert Half is looking for to work with a successful organization that will recognize your efforts. Leading daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable will be essential for this role. You might be a good fit for this position if you have the ability to create and monitor the company's accounting and finance operations. Major responsibilities
Oversee the accounting department and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
Lead and develop the accounting team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Provide financial analysis and support to other departments.
Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Prepare budgets and forecasts.
Coordinate with external auditors and comply with reporting requirements.
Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including the AOAO board, executive management, and external entities.
Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
5+ years of accounting management experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of hotel accounting and related operations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
