Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Honolulu, Hawaii


Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Manager. You might be the candidate Robert Half is looking for to work with a successful organization that will recognize your efforts. Leading daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable will be essential for this role. Major responsibilities

  • Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

  • Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes designing systems and processes, migrating data, testing, training, and administrating

  • Possess a working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

  • Lead and encourage the full accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure deadlines are met

  • Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements, which includes data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

  • Periodically review and inspect the balance sheets and income statement accounts of Senior Accountants

  • Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies

    Requirements - CPA or MBA preferred

  • Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

  • 5+ years of recent relevant financial experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

  • Reliable technology and analytical abilities

  • Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions

  • Financial reporting experience preferred

  • Performance management experience

  • Adeptness in Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Client communications experience highly preferred

  • General familiarity with Prepare Budgets

  • Cash flow management experience highly desired

  • Team management experience desired

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Practical knowledge of budget forecasting

  • Ad Hoc Financial Analysis experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
