Robert Half Billing Clerk in Honolulu, Hawaii
Description
In the role of Billing Clerk, you will have several responsibilities that ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the accounts payable department. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and processing invoices, handling all billing and invoicing related tasks, and working closely with the accounting team to assist in financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
Processing and preparing accurate invoices on a regular basis.
Performing data entry and managing all billing related documentation.
Reviewing financial data for accuracy and correcting any discrepancies.
Managing and maintaining accounts receivable records.
Liaising with vendors, providing customer service and resolving any billing issues.
Assisting in account reconciliation activities by cross-verifying invoices and payments.
Generating financial reports and heeding to management inquiries about billing.
Following up on order status and ensuring timely payments.
Performing other clerical tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role, particularly with billing or Accounts Receivable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with excellent data entry skills.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized, able to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
Reliable and dedicated with a professional demeanor.
Knowledge of general accounting principles will be an added advantage.
