Responsibilities

  • Monitor accounts by balancing entries

  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

  • Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts

  • Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

  • Craft Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits

  • Maintain quality historical records by filing documents

  • Oversee and manage general ledger

    Requirements

Earlier work involving journal entries

Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

Process Payments experience highly preferred

Adeptness in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

Year end closings experience

Demonstrated knowledge of Bank Account Reconciliation

Practical knowledge of Process Vendor Invoices

Account reconciliation experience highly desired

Good understanding of general ledger

Proficiency in month end closings

Comprehension of payroll

General familiarity with Invoice reconciliation

Background working with Adjusting Journal Entries

Experience with trial balance

Previous experience working with Depreciation Schedule

Command of Accounts Receivable (AR)

Fixed asset management experience highly valued

Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred

BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

Prior experience using accounting software
