Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist in HONOLULU, Hawaii. The primary function of this role involves administering employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and providing support to employees regarding their benefits inquiries. The successful candidate will be adept at managing vendor relationships, executing billing reconciliation, and conducting open enrollment processes. Responsibilities:

• Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements

• Execute reconciliation of benefits invoices against employee enrollments and payroll deductions to ensure accuracy

• Coordinate with benefit providers to ensure seamless delivery of benefits services and resolve any inconsistencies or issues related to employee coverage

• Prepare required reports, such as annual compliance filings, to regulatory authorities and management

• Plan and execute annual open enrollment processes, coordinating communication, training, and enrollment activities

• Work closely with the HR and payroll departments to ensure correct benefits-related data

• Process enrollments, changes, and terminations of employee benefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits programs

• Provide timely and accurate information to employees regarding benefit eligibility, coverage options, and claims procedures

• Offer administrative assistance to the Human Resources department, encompassing duties such as report generation, employee file management, HRMS record updates for personnel adjustments, and upkeep of logs and checklists.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Compensation & Benefits Specialist or in a similar role

• Proficient in Benefit Functions and Benefits Coordination

• Demonstrated experience in Compliance and Reconciliations

• Proven ability in Vendor Management and Open Enrollment procedures

• Excellent skills in Record Keeping and Employee Engagement

• Ability to manage and coordinate benefits programs

• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and provide information about their benefits

• Strong analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of compensation and benefits policies

• Proficiency in using HR software and tools

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field would be advantageous.
