Description
We are seeking a Data Entry/Bookkeeper with great interpersonal skills and a background in accounting to join our team. Offered as a long-term contract / temporary position, this role is based in the Honolulu, Hawaii region. Your responsibilities in this role
Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Reconcile accounts by rectifying entries
Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Examine payments received and record deposits
Manage and review general ledger
Look after archived records by categorizing documents
Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Requirements - Less than one year of experience is acceptable
General ledger experience preferred
Expense reports experience preferred
Accounts Payable (AP) experience highly desired
Microsoft Excel experience
Data entry experience
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Prior experience working with accounting software
