Description
Our client in the Non-Profit industry is searching for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their company for a hybrid position! A demonstrated ability in overseeing cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close, will be critical to the success of this Full Charge Bookkeeper role.

What you get to do every day
Produce cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Create cash flow projections, as needed
Assemble subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Provide monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Work on special projects occasionally
Enter Accounts Payable
Guide monthly accounting close
Well-versed in credit card management and reconciliation
Keep sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Report on business license and gross receipts
Requirements - 5+ years of related experience- Year end closings experience highly desired
Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Month end closings experience
Comprehensive knowledge of grant accounting
Proficiency in general ledger
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Great attention to detail
- Remarkable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
