Robert Half International Full Charge Bookkeeper in HONOLULU, Hawaii


We have a client who is looking to fill a Full Charge Bookkeeper role promptly with a candidate who can lead the clerical staff and manage full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, and audit. Major responsibilities

  • Formulate cash flow projections, as needed

  • Record budget transfers

  • Well-versed in credit card management and reconciliation

  • Plan monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

  • Outline business license and gross receipts

  • Categorize sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

  • Operate monthly accounting close

  • Supplementary assignments when necessary

  • Prepare cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

  • Keep a check on Accounts Payable

  • Set up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

  • Regulate Accounts Receivable


  • Prior accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

  • 3+ years of related experience- QuickBooks experience desired

  • Quickbooks Online experience required

  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred

  • Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

  • Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

  • Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
