Description
Robert Half is offering a direct hire/permanent position for a highly skilled Investment Accountant to join this growing team in the Insurance space. As an Investment Accountant, day to day operations consist of accounting, client services, and insurance compliance. We are looking for a candidate with strong accounting skills and communication skills. Insurance background is preferred, but not required. They are able to provide insurance training. Job Description:
Quarterly and Year-End Closing: This involves the financial closing activities at the end of each quarter and fiscal year. It may include financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and other related tasks.
Communication and Support for Audit and Tax: Involves facilitating communication and providing support during external audit and tax processes. This could include preparing necessary documentation and working with auditors or tax professionals.
Annual Meeting Support: Assisting in the preparation and logistics for the annual meeting, which may include preparing materials, coordinating with stakeholders, and organizing the event.
Insurance Compliance Support: Ensuring compliance with insurance requirements, which could involve maintaining appropriate policies and documentation.
Client Relationship and Support: This likely entails maintaining positive relationships with clients and providing support as needed.
Requirements
Skills & Experience:
Professional Japanese Language Skills (Both Written and Verbal): Proficiency in the Japanese language is required.
CPA License with Minimum 5 Years of Accounting Experience
The candidate should have a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, which is a common software suite used for various office tasks.
