We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role is in the telecom industry, where you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of accounting information, preparing and recording various financial entries, and managing subsidiary accounts. Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.

• Preparing and recording asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

• Maintaining and balancing subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.

• Managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and maintaining the general ledger.

• Preparing financial statements and reports for review.

• Utilizing skills in accounting software and systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

• Liaising with internal and external auditors to ensure all financial information is accurate and compliant with regulations.

• Providing recommendations to improve financial processes and systems within the organization.

• Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.

• Staying updated with industry trends and current best practices in accounting.

Requirements • The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as an accountant or in a related role.

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory.

• The applicant should have solid experience in maintaining and managing the General Ledger.

• Knowledge of and experience in preparing Financial Statements is required.

• The candidate should possess excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.

• The applicant should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• The candidate must have good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.

• Proficiency in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is necessary.

• The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA will be an added advantage.

• The applicant should have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• The candidate should be self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

• Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting standards is required.

• The candidate must have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
