Robert Half Audit Senior Associate in Horsham, Pennsylvania

Description

We are seeking an Audit Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting audits of non-public entities, overseeing internal controls, processes, and practices, and nurturing client relationships. This role calls for a professional experienced in the public sector, and skilled in areas such as Accounting Software Systems, Audit Program, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, Audit Engagements, Auditing, Compliance, Financial Statement, and CPA.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of audits for non-public entities in various industries including construction, manufacturing, and real estate

  • Oversee and ensure the effectiveness of internal operating controls, processes, and practices

  • Develop strong, trusting relationships with client groups and nurture these relationships throughout the year

  • Perform operational and financial audits in a timely and budget-conscious manner

  • Conduct detailed reviews of the team's work to uphold the high-quality service standards

  • Provide support and coaching to team members, delegate assignments based on their skills and experience levels, and share your expertise through training sessions

  • Contribute to business growth by developing new client contacts and marketing relationships, often through participation in professional, civic, or community organizations

  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell our services

    Requirements

The ideal Audit Manager candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. CPA/CIA designation or candidacy preferred

Other requirements for the Audit Manager position include and are not limited to:

  • 5+ years in public accounting or internal audit

  • Confident user of Microsoft Office Applications

  • Knowledge of ASC, GAAS, and GAAP guidelines and regulations

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively identify risks, assess controls, and formulate audit strategies.
