Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Houston, Texas
Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a high-volume processing role within our finance team. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience working with SAP software and be able to handle large volumes of invoices and transactions on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling large volumes of invoices daily and processing them in a timely and accurate manner.
Resolving any issues regarding billing and payment discrepancies.
Checking and verifying records for accuracy, ensuring all related procedures and requirements are met.
Assisting with the periodical audits, ensuring all documents are readily available.
High Volume Reconciliation of accounts payable transactions; and developing and maintaining relevant spreadsheets and databases.
Ensuring compliance with the company's financial and administrative controls, as well as relevant tax and legal regulations.
Participating in implementation, improvement, and maintenance of SAP processes.
Requirements
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a high volume accounts payable role.
Proficiency with SAP software is required.
Strong understanding of standard accounting principles and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail for precise data entry and record-keeping.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective team collaboration and resolution of queries.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
