Description
Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team based in Houston, Texas. This Accounts Receivable Specialist role is pivotal in managing mostly the Commercial Collections but also reviewing invoices, and account reconciliation . You will be entrusted with maintaining accurate records of receivables, issuing invoices, and processing payments promptly. This role offers an exciting contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of billing, collections, and account reconciliation
• Maintain and update accurate records of all receivables
• Issue invoices in a timely manner
• Ensure prompt processing of payments
• Handle queries and disputes related to payments and balances
• Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with financial laws and guidelines
• Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for efficient operations
• Leverage Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting
• Perform account reconciliation and manage cash collections efficiently.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounts Receivable Specialist
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections
• Familiarity with Commercial Collections process
• Competency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Oracle and QuickBooks software
• Proficient in using SAP for financial operations
• Demonstrable problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
