Description
Our client is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist on a contract basis. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of accounts receivable, including billing, collections, reporting, and customer account reconciliation. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage incoming payments and invoices
Manage and resolve any billing issues
Maintain up-to-date billing system and customer files
Carry out customer credit checks, set up new client accounts
Prepare, verify, and process invoices, receipts, and payments
Weekly reporting of invoicing totals, aging totals, cash receipts, and other accounts receivable performance metrics.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure all financial operations are executed properly
Participate in team meetings and ongoing training sessions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or relevant field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
Experience using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is desirable.
Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
