Robert Half Assistant Controller in Houston, Texas
Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Assistant Controller in Houston, Texas. This role primarily operates in the financial industry and will require familiarity with various accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning solutions. The ideal candidate will be a key part of our team, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Conduct regular audits to ensure financial compliance
• Utilize ERP solutions to streamline and automate financial processes
• Employ accounting software systems for accurate financial tracking and reporting
• Use ADP Financial Services for payroll and other HR-related tasks
• Implement and maintain budget processes to ensure financial stability
• Leverage Great Plains (GPAC) for efficient financial management
• Regularly review and update accounting functions to ensure their effectiveness
• Resolve customer credit inquiries and monitor credit accounts
• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions
• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)
• Proficiency in managing Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Auditing
• Proficiency in managing Budget Processes
