Robert Half Audit Senior in Houston, Texas

Description Our client located in West Houston is seeking a Senior audit associate. Senior audit associate will be involved in providing assurance services. Senior audit associate will be responsible for the execution of the risk-based audit approach and leading the audit team during fieldwork. In addition, Senior Audit Associate will be involved in non-assurance services with clients. Senior audit associate will be responsible for providing timely training and feedback to lower-level associates.

Requirements:

• Must have CPA licenses or CPA eligible who is actively studying for exams.

• 4+ years of public account auditing experience.

• Must have experience with financial statement preparation.

• Greater than basic knowledge of both GAAP and GAAS rules and standards.

• Greater than basic knowledge of financial reporting, transaction cycles and business processes.

• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills. Will be required to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.

Compensation is based on years of experience. The company offers bonus and excellent benefits.
