Robert Half Billing Clerk in Houston, Texas
Description We are looking for a diligent Billing Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will be in charge of managing our company's billing operations. This role is primarily responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all transactions are completed in a timely manner. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately input invoices in Ariba and Open Invoice systems.
• Utilize your background as a Billing or Accounts Receivable clerk to ensure all operations run smoothly.
• Pay close attention to detail and leverage your tech-savvy skills to manage various billing systems.
• Ensure all billing operations are carried out within the standard working hours (M-F 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm).
• Utilize your skills in Billing, Entering Invoices, Ariba, and Open Invoice to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Manage customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.
• Monitor customer credit accounts, taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Requirements • Possession of at least 1 year of experience in a Billing Clerk role or similar
• Proven ability to accurately enter invoices
• Demonstrated proficiency in using Ariba software
• Familiarity with Open Invoice software
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• High level of integrity and reliability
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
