CORP - NETWORK ANALYST II in Houston, Texas

Description Robert Half is looking for candidates with technical expertise in networking hardware and software for a new Network Engineer opening. We need someone with strong attention to detail and a firm grasp of interfacing, security, Internet protocols and server and network infrastructure. Your responsibilities

  • Provide high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology, including hardware, hubs, bridges and routers

  • Maintain a secure transfer of data to a variety of locations via internal and external networks

  • Engineer enterprise data, voice, and video networks by using traditional and creative methods

  • Collaborate closely with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on implementing, optimizing, and consistently managing of networks

  • Initiate and manage network test facilities Requirements - An understanding of networking such as switching and routing is highly valued

  • Well-founded grasp of Troubleshoot

  • Earlier work involving Communication Skills

  • Foundational knowledge in Business Process Functions

  • Hands-on experience with configuration management

  • Wide ranging experience with travel

  • Deep understanding of Linux

  • Solid understanding of Windows OS

  • General familiarity with Regulation

  • Technical Support experience preferred

  • Skills in Methods

  • Expertise in change management

  • Quality experience with networks

  • Workstation Support experience highly desired

  • Experience with Customer Support

  • Comprehension of Monitoring Tool

  • Good understanding of network design

  • Proven knowledge of Hiring Processes

  • Procedures experience desired

  • Solid understanding of authorizations

  • Strong familiarity with Human Resources (HR) Administration

  • Experience with cabling

  • Foundational knowledge in design

  • Practical knowledge of implementation

  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Access

  • Prior experience with Operating System

  • Networking experience
