Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Houston, Texas

Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for handling inbound calls, providing top-notch customer service, and maintaining accurate data entry. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and is based in a call center environment within the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming calls from customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain positive customer relationships

• Efficiently process customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

• Accurately enter data and maintain customer credit records, ensuring the information is up-to-date and accessible

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed

• Conduct insurance verifications for customers, confirming the accuracy of their medical insurance information

• Process order entries promptly and correctly

• Navigate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word to manage customer data and correspondence

• Handle both inbound and outbound calls, ensuring effective communication with customers

• Utilize Durable Medical Equipment (DME) knowledge to assist and educate customers. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and providing exceptional call center customer service

• Experience handling both inbound and outbound calls in a professional manner

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively

• Proficiency in data entry tasks, ensuring speed and accuracy

• Experience in managing email correspondence in a prompt and professional manner

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data management and documentation

• Ability to perform order entries accurately and efficiently

• Experience in insurance verifications, particularly in the context of medical insurance

• Familiarity with verifying Durable Medical Equipment (DME) in insurance contexts

• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and software applications.
