Description
Robert Half is scouting out talented Desktop Support Technicians who are able to relay difficult technical information to non-technical users in an easily understandable and concise format. Problem solvers who enjoy working in a challenging and positive environment may do well in this Desktop Support Technician position. This Desktop Support Analyst position, which is a 100% ONSITE contract to permanent opportunity, is located in the Houston, Texas, area.
Responsibilities
Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Create records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
Rectify computer problems, and suggest appropriate action/solutions
Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
Requirements
Requirements
Desktop support or related experience
Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10
Microsoft Office 365 experience required
Experience utilizing Azure AD
