As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead our financial operations and strategy.
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Finance to join our leadership team. This critical role will have oversight of various financial functions, including FP& A (Financial Planning and Analysis), internal management reporting, IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). The ideal candidate will have an MBA and a proven track record of strong leadership in finance and accounting.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability objectives.
Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
Lead the FP& A team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support short-term and long-term business goals.
Analyze financial data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and GAAP standards.
Prepare and present financial statements and reports to executive management, investors, and external stakeholders.
Internal Management Reporting:
Develop and maintain internal financial reporting systems to provide real-time insights to department heads and executives.
Collaborate with department leaders to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for monitoring financial performance.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Stay current with changes in financial regulations and standards, ensuring the company's compliance with IFRS and GAAP.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
Leadership and Team Management:
Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Mentor and develop finance staff, facilitating their professional growth within the organization.
Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or relevant advanced degree.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in finance leadership roles, preferably within the logistics or related industry.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting principles and their application.
Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to influence and drive change within the organization.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
