Robert Half Financial Analyst in Houston, Texas
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Houston, Texas for a Financial Analyst who is well-versed in Accounting Software Systems, CapEx, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and ERP Solutions. This role will be primarily focused on optimizing financial operations and ensuring the efficient use of resources within the company. The Financial Analyst will be an integral part of our team, responsible for budget processes, expense reporting, and performing various finance and accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems to analyze financial data, forecast future trends, and assist with budget planning
• Handle CapEx (capital expenditure) operations, including planning, budgeting, and analysis
• Implement and manage ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and ERP Solutions to streamline and improve financial processes
• Utilize Great Plains (GPAC) and About Time software to enhance accounting functions and processes
• Assist with budget processes, ensuring all budgets are accurately prepared and approved in a timely manner
• Manage expense reporting, verifying all expenses are accurately recorded and justified
• Perform various accounting functions, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date
• Analyze financial data and create reports to present to upper management for decision-making purposes
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and improve fiscal responsibility within the company
• Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
