Description
Our client is looking to add a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager with an M& A focus to their team! This is a newly created role that reports directly to the CFO and will have high visibility to the entirety of the C-Suite. As a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will be instrumental in driving financial strategies and decision-making processes. This will include leading the development of budgets, conducting financial due diligence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
FP& A Manager (M& A) Responsibilities:
• Conduct insightful analysis of financial performance and variances to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate potential acquisitions and strategic investments.
• Lead the creation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Conduct financial due diligence and develop financial models to support decisions regarding mergers and acquisitions.
• Participate in post-merger integration activities, ensuring financial synergies are realized.
• Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management.
• Provide actionable recommendations to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational decisions.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor business performance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and other departments to streamline processes and improve accuracy in financial reporting.

Requirements
FP& A Manager (M& A) Experience Requirements:
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics -MBA or certification a huge plus
• 5+ years of FP& A with specific experience around M& A - pre & post-acquisition experience
• 3-statement modeling and/or FBO models
• Need someone who can own the entire process and build models from scratch - not just modify what already exists or just completed a small piece
• Must be comfortable presenting data to the C-Suite & Investors
