Description There is currently a critical need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper with our client to conduct audit, manage clerical staff, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, and financial statement preparation. How you will make an impact
Ready monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Assemble cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Govern monthly accounting close
Condense business license and gross receipts
Arrange cash flow projections, as needed
Index budget transfers
Organize subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Other assignments as requested
Familiar with Accounts Receivable
Qualified in credit card management and reconciliation
Enter Accounts Payable
Manage sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments Requirements - Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Relevant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
Proficiency in payroll
Wide ranging experience with Microsoft Access
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred
Well-founded grasp of Work Orders
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Experience with bank reconciliations
Foundational knowledge in Sales Tax
Practical knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise
Quality experience with Microsoft Excel
Proven knowledge of Credit Card Reconciliation
General familiarity with Prepare Quotes
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Detailed and have the ability work independently
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well
- 5+ years of related experience
