Description
Robert Half is actively seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our high-performing team. This role requires excellent organization skills, an eye for detail and a diligent work ethic. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing all general accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and execute all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.
Prepare, review, and make necessary adjustments to financial statements.
Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
Participate in period-end closing (monthly, quarterly, annually) and assist in the financial audit process.
Prepare annual budgets, as well as financial forecasts.
Stay compliant with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Generate reports and statements for management as required.
Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of direct experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper.
Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.
Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
