Robert Half Help Desk Analyst II in Houston, Texas
Description We are in search of a Help Desk Analyst II to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be tasked with a range of responsibilities, including Windows 10 migrations, maintaining customer details, and resolving queries. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the industry.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the planning and execution of Windows 10 migrations, ensuring a smooth transition for all users
• Identifying and prioritizing applications for migration, focusing on those that will continue to be utilized post-migration
• Restoring only necessary information on the destination computer to avoid redundancy and maintain system stability
• Utilizing PC Desktop - Workstation, PC Skills, Printers, and KACE skills to efficiently carry out job functions
• Processing customer credit applications in an accurate and timely manner
• Maintaining comprehensive customer credit records, ensuring they are up to date and accurate
• Resolving customer inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Continuously monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when needed
• Ensuring data restoration is done for necessary applications only, to avoid introducing instability in a newly deployed computer Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Must have skills in PC Desktop - Workstation
• Proficiency in PC Skills is necessary
• Knowledge and experience with Printers is required
• Familiarity with KACE is a must
• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills are needed
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
• Willingness to continually learn and stay updated with industry trends and new technologies
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
