Where We Need You:

The Houston office is seeking an Experienced Consultant to join our growing Capital Projects & Contracts team.

What You Can Expect:

Experienced C onsultant s learn from the best management team in an effort to develop an understanding o f business processes and build technical skills in general risk areas. Th e Experienced C onsultant conduct s interviews, compiles and analyz es data, and documents findings with enhancement opportunities . Through interaction with client a nd project team personnel, the Experienced C onsultant develops professional relationships that contribute to exceptional client service. The successful Experienced Consultant learns effective time and task management, takes ownership of assignments and accepts responsibility for team results.

    Do Your Talents Include the Following?

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of observations, current processes, comparative matrices and drafting recommendations.

  • An understanding of core business , capital project management , or facilities management processes such as operations and maintenance, sustainability, facility information management and technology management, risk management, performance and quality management, capital expenditure management, budgeting , change management, procurement and contracting, and real estate .

  • Awareness of capital project management and facilities management operations, approaches, methods and business intelligence tools.

  • Exposure to b uilding systems, maintenance practices , personnel management , health & safety management for operations

  • Awareness of pr ocess improvement and project management methodologies (such as Lean, Agile , Change Management etc.)

  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills and innovation to client engagements across various industries.

  • Ability to apply technical and industry knowledge to create value add and impactful client deliverables.

  • Strong organizational skills, prioritization skills, time management skills and ability to undertake multiple activities at any given time.

  • Experience in tools such as MS Office (particularly Project, Access, Excel and PowerPoint), Power BI, Tableau , building automation systems, and experience with Integrated Workorder Management System etc.

  • Knowledge of basic capital program , project management , and facilities renewal program

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment.

    Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline ( e.g. Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Facilities Management , or Related Field ).

  • 1-2 + years working in C onsulting, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management , Facilities Management, or related field, either in professional services or industry.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Professional Certification such as Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Facility Management Professional (FMP), Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP ), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Certified Construction Manager ( CCM ) or similar a plus.

    We travel throughout the month frequently based upon client requests/commitments. Travel may include suburban, regional, or out of state locations.
