Description We are seeking a dedicated HR Assistant for a location in Houston, Texas. As an HR Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, document scanning, and filing, all while maintaining confidentiality. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process data entries.
• Safeguard sensitive information, adhering to strict confidentiality principles.
• Responsible for scanning and filing documents into personnel records.
• Ensure compliance with I-9 regulations, including auditing and sorting active and terminated forms.
• Handle the printing of documentation and interview packets for hiring managers.
• Multi-task effectively, ensuring all duties are carried out in a timely manner. Requirements • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a Human Resources role
• Proficient in Data Entry tasks
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in daily HR operations
• Skilled in Document Scanning and other digital record keeping methods
• Familiarity with Filing systems, both digital and physical
• Competency in Printing, including handling confidential HR documents
• Understanding of I-9 Compliance and other relevant HR regulations TalentMatch®
