Robert Half HR Recruiter in Houston, Texas

Description We are seeking an HR Recruiter to join our team in Houston, Texas. As an HR Recruiter, you will play a critical role in identifying and attracting top talent across various departments, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process. This position will require a strong understanding of full lifecycle recruitment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with HR Management to create detailed and consistent job descriptions and post openings on appropriate platforms to reach potential candidates.

• Develop a deep understanding of our positions and duties.

• Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, such as job boards, social media, networking events, and direct outreach, to build a robust candidate pipeline.

• Conduct initial applicant screening to obtain applicant information and history, including both phone interviews and face-to-face interviews

• Organize and schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers

• Maintain clear communication and provide timely feedback to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

• Monitor and maintain recruiting metrics

• Ensure that applicant tracking is up-to-date, complete, and meets compliance standards.

• Coordinate with hiring managers to anticipate future hiring needs.

• Attend and assist in facilitating career fairs as needed.

• Handle any other duties as assigned. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in a HR Recruiter role or similar

• Proficient in the use of Applicant Track System

• Experience conducting Background Checks is essential

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions within a HR context

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization

• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations would be advantageous

• Proven track record in sourcing and recruiting top talent.
