Our client, a growing healthcare company located near the Houston medical center, is seeking a Customer Care Representative on a contract to full time basis to start immediately. Offering a flexible schedule with a start time at 7:30am or 8:00am, and opportunity to work from home after fully trained up. The ideal candidate will have experience in the DME or medical supply industry, medical sales exposure, working and speaking with patients, order entry, and providing excellent customer service. This company provides medical supplies and mobility solutions directly to patients, and this position will be responsible for supporting the technology professionals as they evaluate clients needs for customized DME equipment, calling patients regarding their orders, ensuring their information is accurate in the system, making order adjustments, and placing orders over the phone. Day to Day responsibilities:

  • Schedule customer evaluations and delivery of wheelchairs to clients

  • Gather information and medical documentation needed to process orders

  • Heavy data entry of order process documentation

  • Follow up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Work cross-functionally to ensure timely completion of order processing

  • Call reoccurring customers to check on orders

  • Make any changes to customer orders

  • Email correspondence daily

    Requirements

What you will need to succeed

  • High School diploma/GED required

  • Experience working in a fast paced environment

  • Drive to provide best-in-class service to our partners and customers

  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities without sacrificing a high level of service

  • Strong time management with the ability to maintain team schedules as needed

  • Basic understanding of health insurance

  • Ability to work a team setting as well as independently to prioritize duties in order to meet deadlines

  • Exceptional client focus and a natural ability to build relationships

  • Maintain a strong sense of urgency
