We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network Security Engineer with a strong focus on Cisco and Palo Alto technologies. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network security infrastructure. Your expertise in Cisco and Palo Alto solutions will be instrumental in safeguarding our organization's critical assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our network.

Main Activities:

  • Design and deploy robust network security solutions using Cisco and Palo Alto technologies to protect our organization against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Implement and configure firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and other security devices to establish secure network perimeters and ensure data protection.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective security policies and rules within the Cisco and Palo Alto environments.

  • Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and security alerts to detect and respond to potential security incidents promptly.

  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential weaknesses and implement appropriate remediation measures.

  • Perform configuration reviews and audits of network security devices to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

  • Participate in planning and executing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for the network security infrastructure.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Cisco and Palo Alto technologies, industry trends, and emerging security threats to enhance our network security posture continuously.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on Cisco and Palo Alto technologies, best practices, and security methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in network security engineering with a focus on Cisco and Palo Alto technologies.

  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in configuring and managing Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco Firepower Next-Generation Firewalls, Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls, and associated security features.

  • Familiarity with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for secure network access control.

  • Proven experience in implementing VPN solutions, including IPsec and SSL VPNs, on Cisco and Palo Alto platforms.

  • Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching technologies.

  • Experience with network security-related protocols and technologies, such as SNMP, NetFlow, syslog, and SIEM solutions.

  • Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA, NIST) and their application in network security practices.

  • Industry certifications, such as CCNP Security, CCIE Security, PCNSA, or PCNSE, are highly desirable.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
