Description We have a great opportunity for someone who has a strong interest in networking hardware and software. We have a great opportunity for someone well versed in interfacing, security, Internet protocols and server and network infrastructure. Robert Half is hiring candidates with a high attention to detail and a passion for the Construction/Contractor field for a Network Engineer role. This Network Engineer position is an opportunity for permanent employment and is based in the Houston, Texas area.
How you will make an impact
Deliver high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology like hardware, hubs, bridges and routers
Work alongside vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on the implementation, optimization and ongoing management of networks
Engineer enterprise data, voice, and video networks by using traditional and creative methods
Establish and operate network test facilities
Ensure a secure transfer of data to various locations via internal and external networks Requirements
Knowledge of Cisco Firewall
Meraki experience
Strong familiarity with ASA Firewall
Networking experience
Familiar with network design and implementation strategies
