Description Robert Half client is growing firm seeking a experienced Payroll Administrator to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate is meticulous with a solid track record in payroll processes, is comfortable dealing with numbers and maintaining an organized workflow.

Job Overview: As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for all payroll-related tasks. Your excellent understanding of multi-state payroll laws, account reconciliation, and experience with QuickBooks will make you a strong candidate for this position. Your role is pivotal in ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all multi-state payroll processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness 2. Reconcile payroll accounts and correct any discrepancies 3. Manage reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial reviews 4. Conduct audits of payroll accounts 5. Update changes to wage and tax laws in our payroll system 6. Answer staff queries about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records

   Requirements: 1. Proven experience as a payroll administrator with a strong understanding of multi-state payroll processes 2. Proficient with QuickBooks and other accounting software 3. Knowledge of federal and state payroll and tax regulations 4. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities 5. Strong numerical and problem-solving skills 6. Attention to detail 7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
